Lenghas are all the rave right now for women of all sizes and ages, and Sharmila K. Designs has got you covered for all your lengha needs - with custom tailoring available to suit your size... and height! See below for some of my favourite picks out of her most recent collection.

Look 1: Silver vs. Gold

My preference has always been gold over silver, but this lengha won over my heart with the perfect combination of both. The three quarter sleeves on the snug blouse added a touch of retro elegance that was mom and daughter approved - which is rare these days!

I paired this lengha with a single bangle on each hand and light pink jhumkas from iSwasam Jewellery so not to take away from the outfit, and added black heels and a compact clutch, both by Shalini K., to complete the look.

Look 2: Velvet Love 😍

Is there a look more majestic than velvet - if there is, someone please introduce it to me! I fell in love with this low cut velvet blouse not just because it's velvet and soft to the touch, but also because of its' distinct design and luxurious, plum colour - one that I typically stay away from due to the difficulty of pairing it with the existing colours in my closet, but because I was sifting through Sharmila's closet, I had a multitude of options to choose from! I decided to pair this gorgeous velvet blouse with a neutral chiffon lengha long enough to fit my tall, lanky self to create this two-toned look 😂. Sharmila and I then turned this two-toned outfit into three tones by throwing on a light pink net dupatta, because you can never have too many tones, right???

Can you see that I have a thing for jhumkas? I chose bigger, bronze-toned jhumkas and plain gold bangles from iSwasam to compliment the neutrals in this look. And of course, no look is complete without the Kira clutch by Shalini K.

Look 3: Western Infusion

If you know me, you know my favourite types of traditional looks are the ones that aren't so traditional, so of course I saved the best for last! This beige, chiffon duster would have looked great with a lengha, but of course I wanted to take it out of the norm so I paired it with a strappy crop top and high waist tights to create this fire look. I bet you couldn't tell that the gold bronze choker and the black and gold earrings are actually from two different sets? Because I had a hard time choosing between the two gorgeous sets from iSwasam, I decided to do a little bit of both😁 . The lace up boots by Shalini K. and high pony tail turned this look from sexy to fierce real quick! Check out that last money shot by Inchanted Studio - slayed!

If these looks don't convince you to check out Sharmila K. Designs, then you're definitely missing out! Go shopping, now!

Love,

Her <3
